Nominate your songs (September/October 2025)
Songs can be nominated until October, 31 simply by sending a YouTube address to office@parkinsong.org to get on the Playlist. Theme or artist must have a link to Parkinson’s and they must own the rights. Preview and play the songs on the playlist, but don’t click anything yet. Spread the word. No entry fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Parkinsong 2026 Song Contest and WPC Song Competition are wholly separate and unique competitions with different guidelines, expectations, and review processes. Neither competition will accept cross submissions, as songs for each should be unique.
Vote („Like“) all your songs (November/December 2025)
Voting commences on November, 1st, so now you can start. YouTube lets you click once per song on a „Like“, with a second click you can undo it to get not counted. In order to run a fair contest, voters need to be registered. If you don’t have a YouTube account yet, get one. It’s a web standard and registration is free.
Win the song contest in three categories (January 2026)
The winners will be the artists with the most „likes“ on their YouTube songs counted at the end of the year. To make it fair for all, counters will be set on the same starting line on November, 1st. The received entries were outstanding, so there will be three categories, Parkinsong 2026, Best Song and Best Video.
CD release presented at the WPC in Phoenix (May 2026)
And the three winners are … First prize is a CD release on Parkinsong Music, our record label, launched at the 7th World Parkinson Congress in Phoenix, Arizona.
